The Most Wonderful Time of the Year is Here

Ring in the 2025 holiday season at Bank of America’s Winter Village at Bryant Park. Each year, the park turns into a hub for seasonal activities, featuring an ice-skating rink, holiday shops, and plenty of dining options. Whether you’re visiting for a quick skate, to shop for gifts, or to grab a warm drink with friends, the Winter Village has something for everyone. Here’s a look at what you can do when you visit.

Go Ice Skating

The main attraction at Winter Village is the 17,000 square foot ice-skating rink in the center of the park. Admission is free (completely if you bring your own skates), but rentals are available for a fee. You must reserve a free entry time online in advance. If you’re looking to save money on rentals, try visiting during off-peak times or use your Bank of America credit or debit card at checkout to receive 10% off eligible skate rentals. If you’re new to skating, Fireworks Skating Academy offers solo and group lessons at Bryant Park for those who want to learn how to hit the ice.

Explore the Holiday Shops

Surrounding the rink, you’ll find rows of holiday shops that pop up every year. Vendors sell everything from handmade jewelry and candles to snacks and winter gear. It’s a great place to find unique gifts or simply browse while enjoying the festive atmosphere. Most of the shops are open from late October through early January, so you have plenty of time to stop by before the season ends.

Grab a Bite or a Drink

When you need a break, there’s no shortage of food and drink options. The Lodge Bar + Food Hall offers indoor seating and a rotating lineup of vendors serving everything from hot chocolate and mulled wine to burgers and soups. Around the park, you’ll also find smaller kiosks selling seasonal treats like waffles, pastries, and pretzels. It’s the perfect way to warm up between activities.

Enjoy the Atmosphere

Even if you’re not skating or shopping, it’s worth visiting just to take in the view. The rink is surrounded by the city skyline, and the lights and music make it feel festive without being overwhelming. There are plenty of benches and open spots to sit, relax, and people-watch. It’s also a great photo spot, especially in the evening when everything is lit up.

Plan Your Visit

Bryant Park is located between 40th and 42nd Streets, just behind the New York Public Library. The Winter Village is open daily, typically from late October through early March. Weekdays tend to be less crowded than weekends, and mornings are usually the quietest time to visit. Admission to the park and rink is free (reserve for the rink prior), though food, drinks, and rentals cost extra.

No matter how you spend your time there — skating, shopping, or just taking in the views — Bank of America’s Winter Village is a simple, fun way to enjoy winter in New York City. It’s free to visit, easy to get to, and filled with things to do whether you’re on your own, with friends, or bringing the family.

The team at Quil Studios wishes you a happy holiday!
